What is pay per click advertising?

Pay per click is when advertisers pay a fee each time one of their ads are clicked. This can be done on Google, Bing, Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram etc…

Think the adverts at the top of a google search. Making sure you are at the very top of a particular search can get you the click, which could lead to sales.

While it is generally referred to as pay per click, there are other methods of paid advertising. Such as paying an amount to display your ad a certain number of times. Another option would be paying when someone takes an action, like purchasing a product, or filling in a form.

Case Study:

When RB Electrical started out in the EV Charging installation market they wanted to make sure customers found them first. We set up a pay per click campaign to ensure they could be found at the top of google. Ensuring their keywords were relevant, popular, and likely to be searched. We made sure they had a high quality landing page which was attractive and had links and forms to help the customers get to what they needed. In this case filling in a form which would help them secure a grant for an EV charging point.

We also ensured they had a good quality ad score so their ad clicks were a lower cost. We also ran a more locally focused campaign on Facebook for their domestic charging jobs.

This campaign was also ran simultaneously with an seo campaign so RB Electrical were also generating organic leads through google search.
